The static VMS data provides information on all Variable Message signs in the North East. The data for static feed includes:<\/p>\n

- The System Code Number<\/strong> or unique ID<\/li>\n
- A Short Description<\/strong> – Short name<\/li>\n
- A Long Description<\/strong> – Full name<\/li>\n
- Geo-reference of the Location, in Easting<\/strong>\/Northing<\/strong> & Latitude<\/strong>\/Longitude<\/strong><\/li>\n
- The Road Name<\/strong> the VMS screen is located on<\/li>\n
- Creation Date<\/strong> of the VMS screen on the UTMC system<\/li>\n
- Data Source<\/strong> the VMS information originates from<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\nVMS Dynamic<\/h1>\n
The Car Park Dynamic Data contains occupancy (where known) and the state of the car park.<\/p>\n

- The System Code Number<\/strong> or unique ID.<\/li>\n
- Message Text<\/strong> – Full Text shown on screen.<\/li>\n
- Message Text Split<\/strong> – Full Text shown on screen. A ~ indicates a line break.<\/li>\n
- Sign Setting Reason<\/strong> – Following methods of sign setting:\n

- No Override<\/em><\/span> – No messages.<\/li>\n
- Scheduled Override<\/em><\/span> – Message set on screen on a automated schedule over a period of time.<\/li>\n
- Group Scheduled Override<\/em><\/span> – Message set on a number of screens on a automated schedule over a period of time.<\/li>\n
- Manual Override<\/em><\/span> – Manually set by a UTMC Operator or Strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Last Updated<\/strong> information of car park asset on the UTMC system. Normally every 4 mi.<\/li>\n
- Lantern State<\/strong> – 0 = No Lanterns, 1 = Flashing Lanterns<\/li>\n
- Message Name<\/strong> – Message ID on the VMS control system<\/li>\n
- Pictogram ID <\/strong>– Depending on the category type, messages can contain pictograms. These range from Park & Ride (Bus) to Roadworks etc. A ZIP containing BMP files and ID allocations can be downloaded here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
